“Moreover  able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them to be rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.” Exodus 18:21

Wouldn't it be great to have men possessing those qualities to choose from when we go to the polls to vote on Tuesday?

Imagine having several guys like this on the ballot to choose from - able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness. How amazing would that be?!

Actually, I would settle for one of those virtues or any combination thereof. That would make casting a ballot much easier!

Barring some radical spiritual transformations over the next twenty-four hours, we may not have such virtuous men from which to choose. The world will not turn perfect between now and Tuesday morning.

So, we will be required to sort out the best people to vote for because not voting isn't an option for the people of God. Notice, you shall select from all the people......

Making such important decisions about which candidates to vote for requires careful research and prayerful soul-searching. Hopefully you have been doing so. If not, you have twenty-four hours to cram.

You are probably familiar with the Edmund Burke quote, "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."  While it would be wonderful to have really good people to vote for it is far more important to have really good people voting. The more, the better!

Vote tomorrow!
